Why should you do Affiliate Programs other than because someone wants you to do it? Simple, you NEED another income stream other than your job. Affiliate programs promise income for work with the kicker that when more people sign up through your efforts, you get extra income. J. Paul Getty once stated that he would rather have 1% of 100 people's efforts than 100% of his own. Having 20 people selling a product is far more effective than you by yourself.
The lure is that the money goes geometric! 20 people know more people than you do. As long as you have products to sell, affiliate programs are great! Passive income is the KEY to the SUCCESS. When you make a sale, you get the money one time. You get 20 people selling your products, you get money coming in when you are sleeping, eating, or selling. The magic of any marketing program is exposure and what your product benefits the end user.
However, what if you don't have a product? The next benefit of affiliate programs is that you DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE A PRODUCT! Is that not great? Of course it is. This means that YOU don't do not have to reinvent the wheel. You can hit the ground running and start working at making money. Should you start your own affiliate program? That depends.
